Munchrooms

There seem to be a lot of these things growing everywhere, Furry-face keeps pulling me away from them, but they smell so tasty?!

They're everywhere, all different colours, shapes and sizes, but mainly seem to be stuck to trees. That is, apart from the little clump I saw growing in the green carpet outside. Furry hadn't spotted them, so I hung back on the rope, waited until he was level with them and sprinted for it! I tackled them at full speed, grabbing one that filled my mouth, even though it was only a tiny little bit off the top!

Never have I been so disappointed… 'munchrooms' they're called? Bleurgh!

Eating Them out of House and Home

Occasionally, I'm left to roam the enclosed rear yard at HQ by myself, this has come in handy in the past for finding catfood lying around unattended.

I've tried out the various attractions, the weeds, the stones, I really like ferns and plastic plant pots, but I've discovered I have access to something tastier than stones - the building!

I found a small crack in the render along the bottom of the wall, if I nudge it hard enough and repeatedly, I can knock bits of the building off to chew on. MUCH tastier than big stones, kind of a woody, brick-like flavour, with a sandy texture. It's especially good followed by a rain-bucket drink. Quite the picnic-at-home.

Bar Knee Tail

We returned to the home of the old grey dog with the odd name, he seemed more alert this time, I think he's been through rehab! Those eyes just say it all!

The rooms were smaller than I remember, and Bar Knee had hidden his sausages from me, but I found his pig and also a funky tyre. This thing must be alive, it rolls away from me on its own and is pretty good at sneaking up on me.

It looks like Furry-face also managed to play the same evil 'tail' trick on grey dog, but he can't reach his, he's not as bendy as me. I offer to help him out, grabbing it for him, trying to remove it and shake it off, but they seem to have installed the same anti-tamper, pressure sensitive torture device, he keeps yelling when I help.

I was allowed to roam free, untethered within their green-carpeted fortress, with a wooden barrier all around. The giants shouted on me a lot, I went to them sometimes, as they had tasty hot dog treats, but I found some other, rather nice food planted there whilst I wandered. As well as delicious daisies, I discovered I now like pansies and azalea japonica, must be a delicacy from afar.
